Control of the parameters of the transverse profile of finished products

The system for monitoring the parameters of the transverse profile of a product allows you to assess the quality of manufacturing of a semi-finished or finished product for compliance with its shape to the requirements of the consumer.

Such monitoring in metallurgy and pipe production is relevant in the production of long products, pipes, rails and other metal products.

Product shape analysis is implemented based on the method of optical triangulation using triangulation 2D-scanners.

Depending on the task, the system consists of 1 or more triangulation scanners, which form a light product profile by “covering” the monitoring object with laser projections, which completely repeats the shape of the controlled object and makes it available for analysis.
