Monitoring the bearing units condition
Monitoring the bearing units condition
The system for monitoring the technical condition of the bearing unit allows evaluating the following parameters of its operation:
- Monitoring of lubrication modes
- Indirect assessment of friction surfaces condition
- Monitoring of operating modes (acceleration, load increase, running-in)
- Monitoring of radial vibration and axial runout of the shaft
- Oil-lubricated bearing liner temperature control
The classic way to control lubrication conditions and the state of friction surfaces is to control the temperature of the bearing liners. The main disadvantage of this method is inertia. An increase in temperature with the appearance of undesirable friction of working surfaces cannot be called operational information, and in most cases, the reaction of personnel to an emergency excess of temperature leads to emergency repairs.
The technology of ELECTRIC RESISTIVE diagnostics of technological indicators of operation and condition of bearings allows to investigate the dynamics of the transition from liquid friction to mixed friction, to signal ща the appearance of microcontacts of friction surfaces at the very initial stage of wear in real time.
The system effectively monitors the changes in thermal and load conditions in bearings, prevents the moment of jamming (drive stop and other emergency situations), registers the changes in the working surfaces quality.
The system provides archiving of monitoring results for subsequent evaluation, accident prevention and planning of repair measures.
